      Agoura Hills is located in the northwest corner of Los Angeles County. As part of the Conejo Valley, it is nestled between the Simi Hills and Santa Monica Mountains. It is close to the Pacific Coast Line with access to the beach via Kanan Road. Agoura has a population of 20,330 people according to the 2010 Census.  It is home to the Las Virgenes School District and Agoura High School.

      Agoura Hills has a rich history. In the rancho era, the Reyes Adobe was built and run in Agoura. It continued to be used for decades until it ultimately became a museum with tours and activities for kids like learning how to lasso a bull. In the early 1900s, Agoura Hills was used by Paramount Pictures to film Westerns at what is now called Paramount Ranch. Agoura is also the birth place of the bands Linkin Park and Hoobastank. Agoura has many venues for bands to play. It is also home to world-class dance companies and studios.
